One summer day between my 8th and 9th grade years two entirely unrelated events changed my life:
First, I became keenly aware that 20-30 excess pounds I carried contributed mightily to the fact that pretty girls did not notice me. Second, my wonderful mother, out of the blue, baked up a scrumptious batch of chocolate chip cookies.
Before sinking my teeth into one of those cookies I had an ephinany! I placed five yummy cookies into a zip lock bag, placed the cookies in the freezer and determined that I would enjoy those cookies only after losing 20 pounds.
It's amazing how five cookies (even more than the hope of a pretty girl on my arm) were able to motivate this thirteen year old boy. That summer I lost over 20 pounds and the very moment the needle on the scale told me my goal had been achieved, I savored the five most delicious cookies I'd ever enjoyed. The cookies that changes my life were gone.
Sadly, a portion of an incredible packaging program that has motivated many of my dearest clients will also soon be gone.
As you know, Specialty Box & Packaging strives to help small to medium sized businesses have branded packaging every bit as good as the corporate behemoths. We have carried out our mission by offering our clients an incredible printed paper shopping bag program. This program allows the entire bag (front, back and sides) to be a canvas for artistic and branding expression. For one affordable price you can purchase a paper shopping bag that can be printed with up to three colors, and with 100% print coverage. On your first order we provide the plates and the shipping at absolutely no charge.
Until now this program could be offered when ordering as few as 3000 bags per size. Beginning on August 1, 2012, the minimum order to take advantage of this program will be 5000 bags per size.
Perhaps this short note can serve as your motivation to act now and to take advantage of this program before it expires. And to sweeten the deal I will (and I'm not kidding) throw in five cookies with any new order received before August 1, 2012.
A special thanks to Najla from Najla's Cookies for offering this month's randomly chosen subject (by the way, feel free to keep the newsletter ideas coming).
