Helping business owners prepare for (read this next phrase in your best Buzz Lightyear voice)
"BLACK FRIDAY AND BEYOND" is always accompanied by an increased level of anxiety. This year has been particularly stressful. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've been consumed with worry about at least five major packaging projects.
The inner tension became so heavy that each and every evening I found myself praying with my wife about these particular jobs.On the fourth consecutive night of bringing these monumental matters to the Big Guy upstairs I found myself speaking the three letters that routinely provide my 13 and 14 year old sons with clear perspective.
F.W.P: First World ProblemsIronically, it was my sons that introduced me to this concept by sharing a very funny but poignant You Tube Video. Click
here if you care to watch (but of course finish reading first). =)
As I prayed about my first world problems- these custom packaging projects that were somehow eating me alive- I actually became grateful for the problems themselves. Only someone as fortunate as I (and dare I say you too) could have problems like these.
I don't have to worry about walking three miles to find water, I'm not concerned about finding shelter for my 18 month old daughter and I'm not eaten alive by not knowing when I will eat my next meal.
And if you are reading this there is a good chance that I owe you a thank you for the fact that my problems are only of the first world type.
Thank you.
