Let me state up front that there is a good chance I'm cheating as I attempt to fulfill this month's challenge.
Still I can't be held completely responsible for my crooked ways! I blame it all on the golden arches!
You see, this month Marianne from Impressions of Saratoga (impressionssaratoga.com) has dared me to blog about retail packaging in such a way that it connects with potatoes (is Dan Quayle in the house to spell check?) and all I can do is think about McDonald's french fries.
So what's my crime?
Well, those who have watched the "The Smoking Fry" (a bonus clip from the Super Size Me DVD) wonder if McDonald's fries are actually made from Idaho's beloved starchy spud. After double digit weeks of sitting in room temperature, these drive through delicacies still look crispy gold and good enough to eat! See for yourself! My sons Nate and Luke both swore off this form of "potato" after watching but soon enough the draw of the drive through won them over again.
As we approach the very busy holiday buying season, wouldn't you love the convenience of drive through packaging? Just drive up to the invisible order taker, shout your order for three cases of printed bags, answer the question "would you like fries with that?" and then pick up your branded packaging at the next window?
Specialty Box & Packaging aims to please! We offer a number of printed packaging programs where production time is only 5-10 days. More than that, just let us know your required in hands date and we promise to use some good old fashioned elbow grease in a bold attempt to have your project deliver on time.
Thanks for visiting Specialty Box & Packaging. Please drive safe and come back again.
